This book does enhance the vocabulary, like other LeapPad books, but the focus in the science series is more about interesting and sometimes amazing facts about animals, geography, and biology. In Amazing Mammals! the pages come to life with natural soundscapes, animal sounds, and games. The reader will learn about the characteristics of mammals and the environments in which they live. Large, busy, full-color illustrations adorn each of the book’s 20 pages, and the illustrations themselves speak or make sounds when tapped with the pen. Like all LeapPad books, this one features clear, pleasant voices, optional background music, and a range of volume settings.

Shaped like a friendly yellow school bus, this incarnation of My First LeapPad continues to engage children with fun games that they will never suspect are valuable brain-building activities.
